I have been thinking about the meaning of the word 'spiritual.' And what I have come up with is that it is the "great something else." You want "w" so that you can have, or get somewhere along the line: x, y and z and be happy. But something happens and 'w' never comes or perhaps w comes but it turns out that x, y, and z aren't really that great. Things then are as they are, yet inexplicably you are happy. The spiritual is that "great something else" that is, happiness independent of wants and desires. In the language of the previous posts Heaven is a trainwreck and Hell is a clusterf_ck.
